  • 12 out of 15 of the world's biggest retail sellers
  • 5 out of 10 of the world's biggest hotels
  • 9 out of 10 of the world's biggest insurance companies
  • The most widespread integration product in the world

Including over 25 adapters for such systems as SAP, Oracle, Siebel, SQL Server, Web Services or FTP, and including a reliable built-in messaging infra-structure, BizTalk Server 2010 is a product which enables organizations to build solutions that automate business processes and provide robust application integration either for Business-to-Business (B2B) or Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) scenarios.

Besides its integration features, the product includes complete support for EDI/AS2, analytical business monitoring processes (BAM), a rules engine that can store isolated criteria for major business decisions and also powerful support for long term transactions.

Two other products are also included in BizTalk Server's license: the Host Integration Server (HIS), which is used to enable integration with IBM mainframes and other systems, and the BizTalk RFID Server, for the development of applications that use this technology.

BizTalk's 2010 version includes new functionalities and improvementos such as:

  • Technological updates for the latest versions of Microsoft's product ecosystem (Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2, Visual Studio 2010, .Net Framework 4);
  • Vast improvements in the development process of transformation maps for messages
  • Increase in functionality in several adapters like the FTP or Oracle adapters
  • ESB Toolkit 2.1, an additional package that adds functionalities along the same lines as the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), where a few distinct features stand out, like a Monitoring Web Portal, a framework for error handling and support for the creation of dynamic processes (itineraries);

It is also possible to license the product regardless of the BizTalk Adapter Pack, which allows any .Net application to use the product's integration potential with other systems.

The most recent version of Microsoft's Business Process Management platform is the ideal solution for the organizations that strive to automate and optimize their business processes while at the same time increase the integration level of the software applications in the organization.
