Create IT is once more recognized as a finalist in two categories: Best Search Solution and Most Innovative Cloud Solution in the prestigious awards European SharePoint Community Awards 2014.
In the category of Best Search Solution, Create IT developed a multi-platform portal for the Intermunicipal Community of Central Alentejo (CIMAC). This project is based on the implementation of a single platform responsible for the aggregation of fourteen portals of Alentejo city councils, as well as two web portals (CIMAC and ADRAL) and a tourism and natural resources portal. This solution, built on SharePoint 2013 technology, supports multiple independent portals with its own domain name and look & feel. This technology is also based on a set of components that are used cross portals in order to facilitate its management, as well a user-friendly content management system, that allow easily share, filter and search content between all 17 portals.
The second finalist solution in the European SharePoint Community Awards 2014 was developed to Pestana Group and consisted in portals Migration to a Cloud-hosted environment, a progressive change, structured and sustained for cloud Infrastructure-as-a-service solution hosted in Windows Azure. The goal of this project is reflected in improve quality service and optimize access to Pestana Group Portals.
