André Vala recognized as “Most Valuable Professional” by Microsoft

Is it possible not have a giant pride in this team? Once again, we are to be congratulated! Our colleague André Vala has just been awarded by Microsoft as Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in the category "Office Servers and Services", which includes SharePoint, Office 365, Exchange and Yammer.

As Most Valuable Professional, André Vala demonstrated to be a community leader with an exemplary commitment in helping others get the most out of their experience with Microsoft technologies. He shared his exceptional passion, real-world knowledge, and technical expertise with the community and with Microsoft.

According to Microsoft, "Technical communities play a vital role in the adoption and advancement of technology-and in helping our customers do great things with our products and services. For more than two decades, the Microsoft MVP Award has provided us an opportunity to say thank you to independent community leaders and to bring the voice of community into our technology roadmap through direct relationships with Microsoft product teams and events such as the MVP Global Summit."

To become an MVP, André Vala was evaluated in criteria like the impact of his contributions to online forums such as Microsoft Answers, TechNet and MSDN; wikis and online content; conferences and user groups; podcasts, Web sites, blogs and social media; and articles and books.
